The density of the forests here leaves me awestruck, feeling overpowered. The dominion of nature stands tall before me. Here I feel small. No, not in spirit but by the sheer dimension of nature around me. The thick bark of the trees, their tallness, the smell in the air here-- it's pungent and it gushes into my nostrills filling my every breath. Oh! It’s a different feeling here, the sounds so different from the city sounds that I hear back in Pune, the people and the ways of here so so very different. I just love it – to absorb and be at this place, to connect to my roots, my soil, the mallu-ness and this land where I was born.

The picture of God's own Land
I am now at the place where I was born. And the picture on my blog reminds me of here. Hence I chose it.
